Window Cleaners Sotogrande

Window cleaning across Sotogrande: marina, Alto, Costa and La Reserva

Our Sotogrande clients fall into two camps. Estate owners in Sotogrande Alto and La Reserva, whose houses sit among mature cork oaks and pines that shed onto skylights and conservatory roofs all summer. And apartment owners around the marina, where berth views come at the price of a salt film that rebuilds within weeks of every clean. Between them sit the villas of Sotogrande Costa, low-slung behind hedges near the polo fields at Santa María, and the newer homes above Valderrama, where big glazed frontages face an afternoon sun that shows every smear.

The dominant problems here are organic and saline rather than urban grime. Marina apartments take the worst of the salt: a hazy film on windows and glass balustrades that ordinary washing smears around instead of removing — pure water strips it without residue. Up in the Alto, the trouble is trees: pine resin, cork-oak dust and pollen settling on conservatory roofs, skylights and pool-area glass through the dry months. Add the calima, which drops fine Saharan dust across the whole resort in a single night, and floor-to-ceiling glazing that looked perfect in June can be filmed over by August.

Access in Sotogrande usually runs through a gatehouse or a house manager, and that suits us. We confirm appointments in writing, arrive in the agreed window and can work while owners are abroad, with photos sent when the job is done. Our Pure Water System reaches 14 metres from the ground — enough for most stairwell glazing and double-height frontages here. Above that, we agree an approach case by case, usually from a terrace or the interior side.
